A Little Bit About Chels

My name is Chelsea Nissen and I'm working for a double major in Geology and Chemistry with a minor in German. I'd like to either work in the oil industry in Alaska or deal with climate change, but we'll see how that goes. I'm 5'6" and have three older sisters. Recently the "Honking Tree" up the North Shore (near Duluth) was cut down and I was pretty upset about that. I like to camp, snowboard and go to music festivals. My hometown is St. Cloud, MN and lived there for 15 years before my family moved to Marble Falls, TX. I have very little skills with computers and what's on them. I was required to learn Microsoft Excel but don't know much about it. I've traveled to Ireland, Italy and the Netherlands and will be going to New Zealand next winter. I'm taking this class because I heard it was good for me.
