The St. Petersburg Times: An on-line English-language newspaper published in Russia. It contains an "Arts and Features" section, which is a good source for finding information on current cultural events.

The Moscow Times: Another on-line English-language newspaper by the same publisher.

Sher's Russian Index: This is a megasite where you will be able to find a great deal of material on Russia.

Russian Painting: This website, created by Dr. Alexander Boguslawski and his students at Rollins College in Florida, is an excellent source of information on Russian art.

A History of Russia: Professor Petrovich taught Balkan and Russian History at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His multimedia lectures were well known throughout the state. The following edited lectures are designed to acquaint a new generation with Michael Petrovich’s multimedia Russian History Courses. The lectures provide a good overview to the study of Russian History.
