In the evenings after the dishes are done -or not - one would usually find me in the living room with a needle and aida cloth. Counted cross-stitch has been my major leisure activity. In fact, my family jokes I've begun making only bookmarks because I've covered the walls of the homes of all my family members and most of my friends!

Other interests include walking, reading, sewing, knitting, and enjoying nature. Long walks in the woods are a wonderful way to spend an afternoon in my opinion. During the summer months, when my life takes a more leisurely pace, most mornings and evenings I can be found walking with friends.
