Survey of US business history emphasizing the transition from small, family firms to large, multidivisional enterprises. Course was cross-listed between The University of Iowa’s economics and history departments.

Statistics for Business Strategy
This course offers a "working knowledge of statistical techniques, scientific data-based approach to problem formulation and solution, statistical techniques in the context of real data analysis, assessment of defects in statistical analyses, using data for making business decisions, choosing appropriate statistical procedures, developing skill in communicating statistical results to audiences without knowledge of statistics."

Historical Survey of Asian Business
Survey of the historical organization of South and East Asian businesses including transactions cost analyses of family enterprises and the influence of religious beliefs on business practice. Course was approved for The University of Iowa’s International Business Certificate Program.

Globalization in History
Exploration of an earlier wave of international economic integration, European expansion in Asia between 1500-1800. Course was offered through the The University of Iowa’s Department of History.
