10.31.06 - Back to the Grind - Hello one and all and greetings, I hope you had a wonderful fragfilled Blackout. Delightful bangs and cracks of First Person Shooters and the roar of thousands of peons bending to your will in RTSs. We hope you all have a grand time this block and look fondly back on your week of exploding due to Goat/Drezen/Dianoga, and so on. I'll be back in a scant few days with another update to fufill your needs of CAD type news and such.

9.13.06 - Within a week!- I'm actually proud of myself, having done this only one week after my last up date :P. Regardless of my self pride, we have had our first meeting with wonderful sucess and numbers. I'll say welcome to all of our new members and a hello to all of our returning members. If you find that I've managed to mess up something on my update of members, let me know through the Contact forum, and the same go to all Alumni out there. Have a Good day all, and remeber, buy a Pizza Card!

9.6.06 - Welcome Back!- Ah, here we all are back again to Cornell for the year, and the year is already a big one for our very own CAD! The adventures start next week from monday the 11th to friday the 15th during dinner and lunch we will be selling our ever popular pizza cards in the Commons upper floor! So stop on by and pick up our wonderful 2 for 1 pizza cards from Paul Revere's. And then as our next great project, we will have our first LAN party of the year in almost no time, so prep up for second block break and all of the glowing screens and FPS/RTS/Gaming action! (No solitare allowed). Watch us for more gaming updates and stop on by Hedges at 6 PM for our meetings!

5.29.06 - I'm an Engineer!- Hello again to you all, the end of the year is upn us and I've thrown in another update! The gaming-fest went well, some danced, some fought, some sang and some shot, but everyone had a good time! So, barring some major burst of motivation or need, we at CAD will be seeing you all next year! Good luck to those leaving us and we hope you all come back (At least long enough to hear the shouts of I'm a/an ________.) So, talk to you all later and have a good time on the shiny internet.

5.26.06 - UPDATE THINGY- So one and all..... Hey look... A Castle!! Sorry about the massive lack of updates, but such things are currently a thing of the past. I, your new Webmaster, now officially have the time to do my elected and official job! So we can dive right in, Tommorrow is an OC gaming-fest, so come on down and enjoy some of the wonderful graphical goodness that you all need, from... whenever Evan wakes up (8:30 AM :P) to about 9 PM, maybe later. On other fronts, World of Warcraft has consumed the souls of the officer team (save Jackie, but we are working on that) so if you are interested to play with all of us, contact Arisfarreach Alliance side and the whole Guild Comstar Horde side. Other News of note is the thing you can see for yourself if you come to our gaming fest, or visit us some time, an XBox 360, in all of its graphical goodness is one of our recent aquisitions. One final thing is a little addition that I will make in just a few days (when class gets cleared up) that involves Hex and Binary copies of our constitution. Otherwise, i don't have that much else, so Good Luck, Have Fun, and (you can ignore my bias here) Alliance for the win!!

1.30.06 - GENERAL UPDATE - This month long delay brought to you by transitive EEPROM head crashes. It's 2006, and with everything that implies, we have a few announcements to make. First, platypuses are no longer street-legal, so stop it! Second, there is a LAN party in Pfeiffer lounge 5th block break, everyone will be there, so you should be too. Finally, there is a contingent of World of Warcraft players on campus (fie, fie!), and Balnazzar is the server. Hear tell that Cornell has both Horde & Alliance players. Contact us for more information or on how to join the guild.

12.16.05 - GENERAL UPDATE - The CAD Challenge is going off on Sunday at 1:00PM in the lower level of the Commons. Don't miss this, the last CAD event of the year! Also, remember this holiday season to eat, drink, and be merry, for tomorrow, like today, we game!

12.11.05 - GENERAL UPDATE - A traditionally slow month in gaming has been spiced up by the revival of Enemy Territory, the announcement of the CAD Challenge, and a hitherto mysterious gaming event planned to take place next Sunday. Marvelousness abounds, and a good time was had by all.

11.20.05 - GENERAL UPDATE - Sorry for the month long delay but we had (flipping through excuse calendar) static style sheet interference with the hyper text transfer protocol standards. Plus, um, RSS feeds, and sunspots, don't forget the sunspots! A Soul Calibur 3 tournament has come and gone, and Mr. Goat has taken the cake, as it were. Congratulations to him and thanks to everyone who came, hope you all had fun. We're winding down for thanksgiving break and the holiday season, but we'll be hosting some gaming events in December, just as awesome as you've come to expect.

10.24.05 - EVENT UPDATE - Blackout 2005 is coming to a block break near you! Cornell's biggest and best LAN party this fall is happening 2nd block break. Gaming will commence immediately after morning class ends on Wednesday, October 26th. If you need help getting your gaming gear to Pfeiffer lounge, contact us. In other news, members of the United Nations have been showing particular interest in our little organization, with Kofi Annan and Butrose Butrose Ghali handling over dossiers on several members that had not been forthcoming with necessary information. Or maybe I should add authentication to the contact form. Eh, why bother, I'm sure it's accurate.

10.14.05 - GENERAL UPDATE - You there! Check the member page and see if your screenname (and real name for that matter) is there. If not, you will soon be receiving a Yoshi's head in your bed unless you contact me with these details! In other news, block break still slowly looming with 12 days until gamer christmas, with the new hard drive happily locked and loaded. However, to satiate the group gaming desire in the mean time, CAD is going to the DOOM movie premiere. Check the events page for more details.

I am working on a grand scheme for world pow- I mean I am subserviently gathering all CAD related items from history (old notes not currently in history, personal pictures of CAD gaming, etc), let me know if you have any of these. Remember, in addition to keeping this update history, I keep track of every meeting notice ever. Check it out if you haven't. On another note, I misread/mishead the announcement that Peter Jackson (link pops) was directing the new HALO movie, and thought he was going to be starring in it. I'll leave you to meditate on that possibility. Woot, two paragraph update!

10.11.05 - EVENT UPDATE - Second block break slowly looms ahead, looms in a good way, that is. Blackout 2005 is coming to a Pfieffer Lounge near you. You definitely don't want to miss this. The server is in the process of being upgraded, and this should all-around be the largest and most action-packed LAN party CAD has ever had.

09.25.05 - FUNDRAISING UPDATE - We sold a total of 52 pizza cards, with a profit of $260 after splitting the sales with Paul Revere's. This brings our budget to an amount that will buy one healthy chunch o' gaming™. Thanks to everybody who made this possible. Also, the members page is updated. Let me know if your data is in need of the CAD update o' tron™. This concludes this episode of trademark o' madness™.

09.16.05 - EVENT UPDATE - ET games will hereby resume. For this and OC Gaming Fest details go to the events page. For those of you who are new and/or interested, know that I am keeping full records of CAD's history here. For similar reasons, you can contact me here, and I will pass on your information/requests to the officer team.

09.14.05 - FUNDRAISING UPDATE - We will have sold over 50 pizza cards by the end of the week, resulting in at least $250 of extra gaming goodness coming your way this year. A big thank you to everyone who bought them! Also, look forward to some Soul Calbur 2 after this week's meeting, and some ET this weekend.

09.07.05 - BACK TO GAMING UPDATE - We're back! And we are working hard on creating as many gaming opportunities as possible. TO help support these efforts, buy a pizza card - we're selling them at meals for only $10. These let you buy one pizza and get another one free. They pay for themselves in a single use, and they give you ten uses for the next year. OC Gaming Fest is happening sometime first block break, go to the events page for more information as it becomes available.

02.16.05 - NEW GAME - Member Donovan Skarin has put up a game server for the game MAngband - kinda like a multi-player version of nethack. Free and multi-platform - Mmmm. 01.04.05 - NEW STUFF - Another LAN party is in the making, look here soon for more details, but know that it will be held over 5th block break (January break). Another year down for CAD, soon there will be a comprehensive record system of everything that ever happened (with CAD anyway)...

10.13.04 - FUNDRAISING - Pizza cards are being sold Thursday the 13th, Friday the 14th, and Monday the 17th of October. These fabulous pieces of paper give you a free pizza of equal or lesser value for every one you buy, up to ten of them. As they cost only $10, they pay for themselves with a single pizza purchase! See us during lunch or dinner on one of the aforementioned dates for more information*.

09.22.04 - WEBSITE UPDATE - The new site is finally here! Use this link to send comments, suggestions, etc. Information is being updated on the site as I receive it. News more than six months old is being deleted. Many parts of the site are still under construction (Especially the ET section), so anything pertinent you can send to me will be appreciated. More graphics and functionality to come.

09.16.04 - WEBSITE UPDATE - The new, temporary site is now online. If you have any improvement ideas, keep them to yourself until the real new site is up (or email e-metcalfputnam@cornellcollege.edu). The old site can be viewed here.
